Introduction
This guide walks you through how to simplify review and approval process, ensuring that high-quality works are delivered on time. By following these steps and best practices, a structured, efficient, and productive review process that keeps everyone aligned and projects moving forward is set up.
Log in to Filestage with your team credentials and navigate to the project dashboard to view all active files awaiting your review.
Open the file you need to review by clicking on its thumbnail. Use the annotation tools to highlight specific areas that require feedback, ensuring the content creator knows exactly what you are referencing. Provide clear and concise comments, focusing on specific improvements and avoiding vague remarks. If needed, respond to existing comments to clarify or expand on feedback. For video files, add comments at precise timestamps to ensure your suggestions are tied to exact moments in the content.
Approve files that align with the project’s goals by clicking "Approve" once you’ve confirmed everything meets the required standards. For files that need adjustments, provide clear and specific feedback on what should be improved. If necessary, tag specific team members to ensure they address the requested changes.
When a new version is uploaded, review it side by side with the previous version to ensure all requested changes have been implemented. Then, either provide final approval or request further adjustments as needed.
Enable email notifications to receive alerts whenever a file is ready for review or a new version is uploaded. Use the notification bell to stay updated on recent project activity and upcoming deadlines. Once feedback has been addressed, resolve comments to maintain an organized and clutter-free review space
A short loom video walkthrough has been included below to make the process even easier to understand.
